Unity Access Care Services

About Us

We make it easier to access the support people need to move forward.

About Unity Access Care Services

Unity Access Care Services (UACS) is a Maryland-based psychiatric rehabilitation and social access provider built to connect vulnerable adults to the services that stabilize lives—fast.

We operate as a structured, community-embedded access point for individuals facing mental illness, substance use challenges, housing instability, and reentry barriers. Our model integrates mental health support, housing coordination, employment pathways, and benefits access into a single, coordinated system, removing the friction that often prevents people from getting help.

What We Do

UACS delivers practical, outcome-driven support through:

Psychiatric Rehabilitation (PRP) – life skills, stability planning, and community integration
Housing Support – placement coordination and retention support
Employment Services – job readiness and placement pathways
Documentation & Benefits Access – ID, Medicaid, and essential services enrollment

We operate with same-day intake and 24–48 hour service initiation, reducing the delays that often lead to crisis, hospitalization, or system disengagement.

Where We Work

UACS prioritizes underserved regions across Maryland, including:

Washington County(Hagerstown)
Allegany County(Cumberland)
Wicomico County / Eastern Shore(Salisbury)
Dorchester County(Cambridge)
Baltimore County(Towson)
Garrett County
Somerset County
Caroline County

We operate where access is limited and demand is high, serving as a reliable referral destination for local systems and partners.

What We Do

Limited access to coordinated care
Medicaid-eligible individuals needing support

Our work is grounded in reaching people where systems often fall short—and moving them quickly toward stability.

Community-Based

We work within the environments people already trust.

Follow-Through

We stay involved until services are in place and working.

Looking Ahead

Our Direction

We coordinate and connect clients to licensed providers while also delivering direct services as a licensed PRP provider. This enables us to serve clients more deeply and continuously. Building on this foundation, we are now focused on broadening our reach—ensuring support remains accessible, timely, and consistent for the people who need it most.

Built for Partnership

UACS works alongside hospitals, shelters, reentry programs, and public agencies to reduce system strain and improve outcomes.

Partners rely on us for:

Rapid referral turnaround
Continuity of care post-discharge
Stability-focused case management
Measurable progress and accountability

We are designed to extend capacity, not compete with it.

Compliance and Accountability

UACS is structured in alignment with Maryland Medicaid PRP standards and operates with strict adherence to:

HIPAA and data confidentiality protocols
Eligibility and documentation requirements
Clinical supervision and quality management systems

Our operations are built to be audit-ready, transparent, and reliable.

Our Role

UACS exists to close the gap between need and access.

We don’t delay support.

We don’t separate services that should work together.

We don’t leave individuals navigating complex systems alone.

We provide a clear path forward, connecting people to housing, care, and stability within days, not weeks.
